Species

There are several types of replaceable filters for humidifiers:

Filters for water

Non-filter humidifiers

Along with the devices equipped with a filtration system, humidifiers without replaceable filters, which are called “air washing”, are in demand. Their task is in air purification from unpleasant odors, dust and various allergens.

Filters in this device are not used, purification takes place with the help of water and discs, as well as through hydrofiltration.

Humidifiers are used to eliminate dry air, and to clean it from dust and allergens, a “wash” is needed. In order not to spend money on the purchase of two devices, you can buy a "sink" that supports the function of moisture.

Care rules

Filter cartridges must be periodically changed. On average they serve up to 3 months. When using a humidifier in the nursery, the filter must be replaced every 2 months. Otherwise, it will be bad to carry out the air. As for the cartridges intended for deep cleansing, they can be cleaned and installed back.

Such types of filters, such as electrostatic and photocatalytic, do not require replacement - they just need to be washed and put back in place.

Do not start washing the filters without having studied the recommendations for cleaning and disinfecting the device in the instructions attached to it. They need to be cleaned of the following contaminants:

Cleaning device

The humidifier must be periodically cleaned:

3. Do not use badly washed out detergents. The remaining part of them can get into the air that you breathe, which will adversely affect your health.

Disinfection
