Methods of improving the mental abilities of a person passed the first tests

Canadian University experts presented technology that allows to significantly improve the human intellectual abilities.

It is based on the application of the TDCS method (transcranial stimulation using direct current). Ease of use lies in the fact that for all processes occur without surgery. The electrodes are attached to the surface of the head, and the system begins its work. The direct effects of DC pulses are carried out on the so-called prefrontal cortex, which is responsible for memory, attention and other significant mental processes. Strengthening the links between the regions of the hemispheres, which occurs during the operation of the system, contributes to the improvement of brain activity and the increase in the rate of assimilation of information.

The essence of the TDCS technique

For reference. TDCS technique has become quite widespread in the field of physiotherapy procedures.Research conducted over the years at the Institute. Pavlov, proved that TES-therapy has a stimulating effect on the mechanisms of repairing damaged cells, inhibits the growth of tumor formations, promotes the development of immunity. On the basis of the data obtained, TRANSAIR devices were created for use in medical institutions. In 2005, the Government of the Russian Federation awarded the authors of the methodology an award in the field of science and technology.

The first experiments using TDCS to increase intelligence were conducted on macaques. The task of animals was to determine the place of food storage by visual marks. The number of attempts required to solve the problem, after the application of stimulation, was almost halved. This indicates that the technique works.

The main goal of Canadian specialists is to introduce the development into the educational programs of the Armed Forces already in 2022. To do this, they need to conduct appropriate experiments on people and, in the event of their successful completion, obtain approval from the Office of Health Supervision.
