Engineers recreated the first model Porshe

Specialists of Porshe recreated their first car, released in the distant 1948.

The first model of the well-known brand was produced in Austrian Gmünd and was called 356. After some time, production was transferred to neighboring Germany, where it continued to work until 1965. Subsequently, to replace the model 356 came a new instance - 911.

Exactly 70 years after the creation of the first car, the Porshe management decided to recreate it. Replication began with the development of a three-dimensional 3D model of the original, which was transformed into a full-sized prototype 356, made of foam. Engineers spent almost 9 months creating an exact copy of the car.

The resulting model is almost completely copies the historical, but the differences are still present. In particular, the back of the copy turned out to be wider, and the front - less expressive. And, of course, the main difference is that the resulting replication option is not capable of movement.
