Chinese experts have invented a robot that is able to be in equilibrium with the help of special propellers. Novelty called Jet-HR1.

Specialists from the University of Technology, located in one of the Chinese cities, invented propellers that are attached to the legs of the machine and are able to maintain its stability even in the most extreme conditions.

The rotors of the new Jet-HR1 have the function of compensating for a possible shift of the center of gravity. This allows the robot to move, walking widely, without the danger of collapsing in one direction or the other.The height of the invention is 65 cm, weight - almost 7 kg. Each of the propellers has the ability to lift almost 2 kg of weight. In conjunction with the built-in automatic stabilization system, this scheme gives excellent results.

Before announcing the final characteristics, experts conducted numerous tests of the device. During one of the tests, the robot needed to step over a 40-centimeter obstacle, which corresponds to an 80 percent value of the maximum possible step width. The propeller accelerated to maximum speed and did not allow the legs to "podkashivatsya", while maintaining the ability of the robot to maintain a vertical position. In this case, the propeller on the leg, which is located behind while walking, rotated in the opposite direction, which created additional stability.
