Electric cars of own production will soon appear on the roads of Belarus

At the test site of the Institute of Mechanical Engineering of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Belarus, the first Belarusian electric vehicle was tested. Vladimir Semashko, deputy prime minister of the state, took part in the tests.

Semashko praised the submitted copy, noting it dynamic and fast acceleration. He noted that electric vehicles can replace traditional vehicles in the very near future. First, because it is necessary from an environmental point of view, because a huge number of cars on the roads already have a very negative impact on the environment, and every year the situation will only get worse. Secondly, the use of such machines will be beneficial from the standpoint of economic feasibility. Comparing energy prices with a possible mileage, deputy. The premiere estimated that 100 km of the journey will cost the car enthusiast approximately 3-4 bel.rubles (80-90 Russian rubles), which is significantly cheaper than filling traditional fuels.

Energy recovery is another advantage of an electric vehicle, according to Semashko.

For reference. Electric power recovery is a process during which part of the electrical energy generated during braking is returned to the network. Energy can be used to recharge the battery or directed to the work of other similar schemes. Especially effective use of the recovery mechanism can be when vehicles are operating that make frequent stops (for example, subway trains), in such cases you can save up to 30% of energy resources.

An additional bonus of supporters of the domestic auto industry was the presence in the car battery from the Belarusian factory "Vityaz". It takes 4 to 6 hours to fully charge the battery. At the moment, after recharging a car, it can overcome no more than 150 km of a track, but by launching the production of supercapacitors and lithium batteries, it is possible to significantly expand the potential of the invention.

It is planned to customize the production of domestically produced electric vehicles at the BelJI plant, which is currently under construction. The versatility of the new enterprise and its full automation will ensure the implementation of the full production cycle. Vladimir Semashko expects that in 3-4 years the project will be developed to the extent that will allow releasing more than one hundred new-generation cars to the roads of the Republic of Belarus.
