Japanese robots increasingly resemble humans.

Japanese specialist Hiroshi Ishiguro presented a robot moving on four wheels. The prototype of a ten-year-old child was taken as the basis of the human-like model.

For reference. Hiroshi Ishiguro is a world-renowned specialist, author of a large number of novelties in the field of robotics. Hiroshi is a supporter of the concept of finding robots among people, so his creations are becoming more and more human-like over and over again. In almost every series of created robots, there is a model that is a prototype of its creator and is capable of replacing it in lectures. In 2007, H. Ishiguro was included in the list of 100 living geniuses, and in 2015 he was awarded the Knowledge Award.

 Robot

The new android has a height of 120 cm, and the weight is almost 40 kg. The model is made of plastic and carbon, and the skin is made of latex. 47 engines located throughout the body, allow the robot to perform a large number of operations. So, he can smile, swing his arms and even hold objects with all five fingers.

Four wheels allow Android to move forward in a light natural incline, a special articular design in the waist area helps to imitate the movements of the human body as accurately as possible through a slight rocking.

The further plans of Hiroshi Ishiguro and his team are connected with the addition of functionality that allows the robot to communicate, share emotions and impressions. Also, the robot plan to put on two legs. It is not excluded that in the near future the creation of Ishiguro can be seen in companies of people who are at ease communicating with each other, because the author sets such a goal for himself.
