Japanese government launches flying machine development project

The Japanese government intends to unite more than 20 global industrial giants to create flying cars.

Recently, the authorities announced their decision to coordinate the work of large companies, including Boeing, Airbus, Uber and many others, to implement the plan for the introduction of air transport in the next 10 years.

It is believed that the main obstacle to the development of air transport is the need for state coordination of all phases of the project. The Japanese government intends to engage in the creation of a legal system sufficient to comply with all the necessary rules and at the same time avoid many bureaucratic procedures. In some countries, for example, in the United States, such issues are resolved very slowly, so it is possible that at the stage of the initial implementation of the project, such countries will simply bypass.

In recent years, there has been significant progress in the development of flying transport.Startup Kitty Hawk is testing flying taxis in the sky over New Zealand, the first copies of the new cars were shown earlier this year. Uber Corporation is also working on a similar project, it plans to establish a base for its cars in Paris in 2023, then the first air vehicles will appear in the sky.
