Samsung's largest factory in India began its work

The largest manufacturer of technology Samsung announced the opening of a new plant in Noida in India. The plant has become the world's largest smartphone development office.

Samsung began to attract investments in the construction of new production facilities last year, a year later the plant began to work. The opening ceremony was attended by high-ranking officials - South Korean President Moon Jae Ying and Indian Prime Minister Narenda Modi.

Before the advent of the new division, the volume of telephone production in India was 67 million copies a year, now the number of manufactured devices will double. The company will produce not only the most popular models of economy class, but also flagship designs. In addition to smartphones, the plant plans to establish the production of refrigerators and televisions.

Thanks to the expansion, Samsung will bring new products to the market in a much shorter time.Capacities will allow to test prototypes faster, to establish mass production on a more serious scale.

The plant in Noida has been operating since 1997. Initially, the complex was sharpened solely on the production of televisions, only in 2005, part of its capacity was reoriented to the creation of gadgets.
